In September 2007 Sagicor acquired the Gerling at Lloyd’s group of companies. Since acquisition Sagicor at Lloyd’s has developed from a dual line operation to a multi line insurer and reinsurer.
Today Sagicor at Lloyd’s Syndicate 1206 offers a broad range of coverages to the broker market - including Special Lines, PI and D&O, Product Recall and Terrorism; Property; Liability; Personal Accident and Treaty.
The acquisition of Life Syndicate 44 in April 2008 enables Sagicor at Lloyd’s to offer individual life, group and schemes products to IFA and broker markets.
We also offer a web based distribution system (Sagicor on Line) to the provincial market through Sagicor Underwriting Ltd (formerly known as Byrne & Stacey Underwriting Ltd).
The diversification and expansion of the company’s businesses will continue in 2009.
